“After completing the Intro to Construction Program, I had the opportunity to participate in an extended framing course run by the Skills Training Centre. From there I began working at a lumber yard where I used the skills learned in the program to perform daily tasks like safely operating a forklift and using a mitre saw. I am currently employed with the Local 27 Carpenters Union where I am constantly using and building upon the skills learned from the program.”
