SCBA Respirators (CAN)

This is a Canada-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for employees who use self-contained breathing apparatuses. Topics covered in this training include equipment, safe operations, and rescue. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed Canada Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus training. NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
